Welcome to Leather Exposition Enterprises. The company
specializes in production of high quality leather products such as
wallets, ladies' purses, office organizers, folders, hand bags, shoes among
others.
All products are made from highly processed goat skin or cow hide
that has been selectively picked to ensure optimum quality.
Background.
The company was established in
2001 at Umoja Estate in Nairobi Kenya with an aim to produce high quality
pure leather products. Patrick Maina Ndaraya - the founder learned
leather skills from
his elder brother, Ceasar Mugweru Ndaraya who worked for 3 years in the leather industry and
later relocated to the United States of America. Patrick opened a small business in the back yard of his
house in 2001 where he worked all by himself. He performed all the business
duties from production to sales and promotions. In 2002, the business moved to Kasarani where it is located to date.
Maina is the president of the company while his wife is the sales manager.
The business has 10 employees and supplies several vendors in the East
African region.
